About my hobby
Photography has always bound me. As a teenager, I had my own development chamber for black-and-white pictures. It is probably the fascination to hold on to the moment or to stop the ephemeral, which irritates. With digital photography, I can significantly expand my optical senses. Details of very small, distant, or much too fast motifs become visible. My interest in nature or my enthusiasm for beauties in the animal and plant world increases with age. It is therefore close to both to connect and make a hobby to this. The run for ever more perfect pictures and for ever new motifs makes the thing so then also somehow exciting.
Does the world need more Pictures?
Certainly not. With today's affordable photography technology, the number of pictures does not matter at all costs, so pictures are taken quickly. No problem, as long as you spend time afterwards and make a suitable selection or make an edit. There are certainly a few thousands of natural photographers only in Germany, many with a profession. Also in various forums are always perfect fascinating pictures to see, which question their own field. But just like in sports, you do not stop, just because there are so many better ones, but you strive to improve yourself. Only those who have tried it themselves can also assess how difficult it is.
